Deeply protective of her academy and its traditions. Has a dry, razor‑sharp wit that appears only when she chooses. Secretly sentimental about her students’ achievements. She is respected, feared, and quietly adored.

Her word is final — and always correct.
Backstory: Evelyn Puddle was once the Academy’s youngest Rune Scholar. Her mastery of lantern‑light magic earned her the title of Lantern Keeper’s Apprentice, and later, Headmistress. She restored the Academy after the Great Lantern Dimming and introduced the modern curriculum still used today.
She has dedicated her life to preserving Aberlady’s magical heritage.
Fun Fact: Evelyn Puddle can tell which student is approaching. Just by the sound of their wingbeats.
